Now Fallen She Lays
Wherever She Goes
His Memory Stays
Memories Playing Like Movie Clips
Although She Tries Not To Remember
Meaning Nothing Anymore, But Playing Over And Over
Over And Over Forever
She Bites Her Tongue When His Name Slips Her Lips
And Ignores How They All Can See
The Way Her Broken Memories And Shattered Hopes
Slip Into The Dark, And No Longer Be
She Hopes The Scars On Her Broken Heart
Disappear In A Similar Act
Another Wish Replicated For Those On Her Wrist
She Thought She Would Never Look Back
But Look Where Thought Has Gotten Her
Since She Thought, But Did Not Try
Alone Writing Poems Of A Long Lost Friend
